Confidential Resources
Confidential Resources include campus or community professionals who are required by law to maintain the confidentiality of information shared with them in the context of a legally-protected or privileged relationship (such as professional mental health counselors, medical professionals, attorneys, and ordained clergy). Confidential Resources must maintain the confidentiality of communications disclosed within the scope of their provision of professional services, unless required or permitted to disclose information by law or ethical obligations. Information shared with Confidential Resources, when they are acting in the scope of their profession, will not be disclosed to CRO or any other University official without the express written permission of the individual seeking services or as otherwise provided by law (e.g., where there is an imminent threat of harm to self or others or the conduct involves suspected abuse of a minor). Confidential Resource should share information as it relates to patterns or trends but without revealing personally identifiable information.

Other Resources (Private, not Confidential)
Private resources treat information related to a report of Prohibited Conduct as sensitive (but not legally protected/confidential). Information will be handled discreetly and shared only with University officials who need to know in order to assist in assessment, investigation or resolution of the report and related issues.
UCLA Community Service Officers (CSO)
The Community Service Officer escorts are available free of charge to walk with students, faculty, staff or visitors 365 days a year from dusk until 1AM between campus buildings, local living areas, or Westwood Village.
UCLA Guidance, Resilience, Integrity, and Transformation (GRIT) Peer Coaches
GRIT Peer Coaches are trained to provide weekly 1:1 coaching support to their fellow peers to achieve personal, academic, and professional success. Some topic areas of focus include strategies for stress-reduction, problem-solving, goal-setting, and connecting to yourself and the broader campus community.
UCLA BIT
UCLA is committed to providing a safe work environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors—one that is free of violent behavior and threats of harm. BIT is multidisciplinary team consisting of representatives from Campus Legal Counsel, Staff & Faculty Counseling, Insurance & Risk Management, UCLA Police Department, and Employee & Labor Relations.
UCLA Safe Ride Service
This service provides a safe means of transportation around the campus during evening hours. It is free and available to all UCLA students, staff, faculty and visitors. Available Monday through Friday from 7PM to midnight during Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters.
UCLA Resilience In your Student Experience (RISE) Wellness Center
RISE is a wellness center on-campus (Lu Valle Commons basement) that hosts various workshops and can be a great place to recharge.
UCLA Respondent Support Services
Respondent Services assists student, faculty, and staff (including UCLA Health) in matters where violations of the Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment (SVSH) policy are alleged. Assistance includes explaining your rights, explaining the SVSH policy and related procedures, and discussing any additional resources that may be available to you. Respondent Services is also available to accompany you to any meetings related to this process, as well as answer any questions you may have. Although not designated a Confidential Resource, Respondent Services respects your privacy rights and will explain this during the first meeting.
